IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIAN STUDENTSIMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SA STUDENTSIntelligent Training Solutions will train you to the requirements of the TLI41225 qualification. This qualification is the only nationally recognised compulsory benchmark in and throughout Australia. In addition to this qualification, South Australian applicants are required to meet the SA DIT (Department of Infrastructure and Transport) regulatory requirements. To do this you will be required to, as specified on the SA DIT website, complete the following items after completing your qualification with us: NOTE: The following criteria are NOT part of this qualification. This information has been sourced from the SA DIT website. Attend a Service SA Customer Service Centre and pass the road law theory test for MDIs. To pass the road law theory test, you must obtain a passing mark of 100% for the give-way questions and 95% for the remaining questions. Evidence that the road law theory test has been successfully completed will need to be submitted as part of your MDI application. Successfully complete a Motor Driving Instructor - Regulator Assessment. This assessment has three components and they run in order: Driving a manual vehicle in the relevant class, to novice Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) standard. This includes a demonstration of 100% compliance with Australian Road Rules and 80% minimum compliance with low risk driving behaviours. This is based on the requirements of a CBT&A Final Drive in the class you choose (car or heavy vehicle) and includes a demonstration of safety components. A clearly communicated commentary drive; identifying hazards, safe driving strategies and applicable road laws during the drive. Competently delivering up to four Tasks from the relevant manual including two tasks of your choice. While session plans aren’t mandatory, you must use the manual and the training delivered must still demonstrate the following: Planning Introduction Demonstration Feedback Failure to demonstrate any of these components will result in an immediate fail and you will have to rebook and complete any outstanding requirements of the regulator assessment. During your training, Intelligent Training Solutions will cover all of the relevant information relating to the TLI41225 qualification and some of the information relevant to the SA DIT MDI assessment. The SA DIT regulator assessment is a separate assessment to the TLI41225 qualification and therefore contains criteria not covered by the TLI41225 qualification. Intelligent Training Solutions has no control over the SA DIT assessors and the SA DTI assessment process. Intelligent Training Solutions recommends completing additional training specifically targeted at the DIT regulator assessment with a local CBT&A (VORT) instructor. If you do not have a CBT&A instructor, you are welcome to use ours. If you are sourcing an instructor, the DIT website is a great place to find an approved CBT&A instructor. Any costs associated with DIT assessment and CBT&A Instructors is separate from your course fees. Intelligent Training Solutions will not collect monies on behalf of DIT or a CBT&A instructor. Acknowledgment* I acknowledge and understand that the SA DIT Motor Driving Instructor Regulator Assessment is in addition to, and separate from the TLI41225 qualification delivered by Intelligent Training Solutions.
