ASSESSMENT METHODS USED ON THIS COURSECOURSE ASSESSMENT METHODS As this is a nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) skill set derived from the Certificate IV TAE qualification, each unit of competence will be assessed. Each assessment within the course will be a competency-based assessment. Successful outcomes for this qualification will be determined by a range of different assessment methods, including: Assessment or student workbooks Written assessments Observation of simulated practical activities Structured questioning and discussion Written or verbal questioning at the completion of each session. ACCESS TO STUDENT SUPPORTSTUDENT SUPPORT Student support is a cornerstone of our organisation. Regardless if you are a full-time, part-time or blended delivery student, you will always have access to our trainers and your student support liaison officers. Our support officers and trainers are available at our Training Centre Monday through Friday and Saturday by appointment. Whether you wish to engage our support and training services daily, once a week or in blocks, it is up to you.FULL UNRESTRICTED SUPPORT ACCESS You will have full unrestricted student support access for the first 4 weeks of your enrolment. At the end of your two-month enrolment period, your course results will be finalised and results entered and reported. If you wish to extend your enrolment period beyond the two months OR have unrestricted access to student support after your initial 4-week period, you will be required to apply for a course extension. PLEASE NOTE: We will always prefer to work with you during your enrolment period to assist you in getting through your study as quickly as you can; however, we completely understand how difficult it can be to fit study into a hectic lifestyle so, in the event, you are unable to complete your course within the two-month timeframe or should you require additional support after your initial 4-week enrolment period, we have an extension program in place which will provide you with a little extra time and support. Below are additional options whereby you must select the units you wish to undertake, whether by RPL, Direct Credit Transfer, or Traditional training. This PDS (specifically the Agreed Delivery Plan within) is considered a live document that changes and evolves with you as you progress through this qualification. Its existence within this PDS signifies the minimum delivery requirement agreed upon between both yourself and us.
