IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIAN STUDENTSIMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SA STUDENTSIntelligent Training Solutions will train you to the requirements of the TLI41222 qualification. This qualification is the only nationally recognised compulsory benchmark throughout Australia. In addition to this qualification, you will be required to meet the SA DIT (Department of Infrastructure and Transport) regulatory requirements, as specified on the SA DIT website, and complete three assessment components. This is applicable to anybody wishing to be a Motor Driver Instructor in South Australia. The following components include: Component 1: Drive Assessment - Metro and Hills Component 2: Commentary Drive Component 3: Training and Delivery of Tasks The Regulator Assessment is a progressive assessment, commencing with the Drive Assessment and only moving on to the next component if the one prior was completed successfully. Feedback will be provided by the Assessment Officer at the end of each assessment. PLEASE NOTE: The Motor Driving Instructor (Heavy Vehicle) Regulator Assessment is a separate assessment from those conducted on the TLI41222 course. During your training, Intelligent Training Solutions' main focus will be on the relevant information relating to the TLI41222 qualification. Our role in this agreement is to train you to the National Standard held by the TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training criteria. As an added bonus, our staff and trainers will cover the requirements of the SA DIT regulator assessment; however, we will not be assessing your competence against the SA MDI (Heavy Vehicle) regulator assessment. As the SA DIT regulator assessment is separate to the TLI41222 qualification, it might contain criteria not covered by the TLI41222 qualification. It will be your responsibility to ensure you meet the requirements of the regulator assessment. To assist you with this, please click and download the SA MDI (Heavy Vehicle) Regulator Assessment criteria here: https://staff.its.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Motor_Driving_Instructor_Regulator_Assessment_Heavy_Vehicles.pdf Intelligent Training Solutions recommends completing additional training specifically targeted at the DIT regulator assessment with a local CBT&A (VORT) instructor. If you do not have a CBT&A instructor, you are welcome to use ours. If you are sourcing an instructor, the DIT website is a great place to find an approved CBT&A instructor. Any costs associated with DIT assessment and CBT&A Instructors is separate from your course fees. Intelligent Training Solutions will not collect monies on behalf of DIT or a CBT&A instructor. Acknowledgment* I acknowledge and understand that the SA DIT Motor Driving Instructor Regulator Assessment is in addition to, and separate from the TLI41222 qualification delivered by Intelligent Training Solutions.
